This is a customizable PBR material for floors in a futuristic environment made for Asset Jam 8 with Material Maker. All variations will generate albedo, roughness, metallic, emission and normal map.

Development process

This material is based on a large pattern (with a choice of rectangle tiles, hexagons or Voronoi patterns with different distance functions) that define the shape of tiles.

Tiles have a smaller emissive pattern (with a choice of runes, dots, hexagons).

Mixing the base materials (metal joint and tiles) is done using the "Workflow" nodes.

Both levels of patterns are embedded in groups, with parameters exposed in the main graph. Screenshots show various possible configurations and the corresponding material.
